Friends,
I have just been notified that our European tour has been cancelled.
Due to incompetance on behalf of the original booking agent Kees Van de
Weil/Cheesy Booking.
From the beginning he did nothing but mislead the band into a false
sense that he knew what he was doing. He lied about numerous things such
as playing for our air fare, but when it was time to get the tickets he
feighned ignorace to even having to pay for them. Saying that he
"thought you (F.C.) were going to buy your own tickets".This is one of
the many misconceptions and lies that Kees had perpetrated while
"booking" our tour. Even the eforts to save it by Ferdi of Pre-Ignition
Booking were unfortunatly too late, due to the mess that Kees had made.
This story is more complex but I find myself too upset to go into it
now. Let's just say we want to kill Kees and leave it at that.
Apologies to all our friends who have made plans to see us, especially
to the clubs who booked us. We are very sorry. We blame ourselves for
getting involved with a liar.
Make sure you spread the word to warn bands about Kees and Cheesy
Booking, (Appropriatly named). We have already started booking another
tour In Sept. through Pre-Ignition and it will happen!
