Cluster Bomb Unit/ Y/ Infront (all Ger) in Eisenbahner (Berlin)/ 7-Feb-97

Eisenbahner is somehow the replacement for the LSD, just that it 
is really far out :-(  Plus it is located in Lichtenberg, one of the Nazis' 
favorite hangout quarters... Still, this package was a definite must. 
I don't really remember which bands opened up, which band came then and so one. 
It was all pretty much the same and it was pretty ok: Crust-Hardcore/Punk with 
growling and crying singers. Especially the fact that they now sold good beer 
besides that awful Czech dark beer played quite a special role. Home trip took 
more than two hours, missed a train, fuck! Next morning was quite hard. Had to 
get up to go to the demonstration against G7 and nuclear power, but hey I made it!

CBU - live San Francisco "Epicenter" 16.08.1996

... CLUSTER BOMB UNIT from Germany graced San Francisco with
their pressence in mid-August. Totally amazing - I was really
impressed with them. I had heard them before, and to tell you the
truth, wasn´t impressed, but seeing them live changed all that. I
am a real fan now and seeing them was just fucking awesome. They
did a rad cover of "Rotten to the Core" by RUDIMENTARY PENI and
were just awesome. I can´t even describe it.

... Komischerweise ohne Diskussion fingen die guten alten CLUSTER
BOMB UNIT mit ihrem Krachgewitter an. Immer wieder eine feine
Sache ! Soundprobleme sind da wirklich völlig nebensächlich. Die DISCHARGE-
Sache sehr gut runter-gemetzgert, mit abgebrochenem Riesen als Schreihals (der seinen
Hass sehr überzeugend kundtat, spitze!!). Pratzig und wie
immer gut abgedreht, mit Bierspritzeinlagen kann man die Stimmung durchaus 
als "kochend" bezeichnen...
